Dear Disciples,

To live idealistically is to live with what we have in the spirit of improving ourselves. We must move forward and build our lives continuously. We must take good care of a tree in order to have beautiful flowers and good fruits. Having endured with bravery, on can progress with the times without being destroyed by the times.

Even though you have enough intelligence and are full of energy, you should not be complacent, but should improve yourself to be knowledgeable in culture, literature, martial arts and the way of martial arts.  You also musts live a life of virtue.  Learn to enhance your relationships, and then you can be a good inspiration for our organization in order to fulfill your responsibility to your community.  We should also direct our thoughts to our origin with a spirit or honoring the Master and respecting the Way.  Vovinam disciples not only follow the rules and the regulations, but also endeavor to deliver our message.

It is great responsibility to be a Master at a studio, but it is more difficult to be the person in charge assigned a management task.  People often judge or evaluate our organization through this person.  Person who is successful and highly capable should be humble even though he is often admired.  Only with his heart can he create a good relationship with people to promote the movement in righteousness.  A program to create a perfect person is a lifetime benefit for our society.  It is neither a regular need nor a short term goal.  Our Founder’s preaching through Grand Master’s writings regarding the spiritual and physical revolution, world view and philosophy of life are always your direction in practicing and learning martial arts and the Way.

Christmas is coming... It is followed by a spring filled with hope and love.   Let’s participate with Angels in this great event of mankind.  We must ask ourselves to reduce our ambition for title and benefit to rid ourselves of selfishness so that one can complete the task of serving the organization.  All persons everywhere will have the same goals.  It will shorten the distance.  Everything will be harmonious and beautiful.
