Dear Disciples,
The Vovinam – Viet-Vo-Dao is not just a symbol of training in Martial Arts.

But it is the guidance to all disciples of bravery, a benevolent heart, and generosity. It is governed and directed by the intellect in order to carry out in martial arts.

    The martial arts students must practice and study to enhance his mind, body and understanding in order to perform good deeds. They are always prepared to confront obstacles with a firm and proper attitude in the way of mankind.

The students’ dedication to Vovinam must know when we place our hands over the heart, we are all a part of the same humanity; we have to love each other, protect each other, support each other, and encourage each other in order to benefit for the family, country, and humanity.  Live, help others live, and live for others.

          Thus, where we are, which century, the Vovinam-Viet-Vo-Dao is always a symbol of bravery, a benevolent heart, generosity, and we will always forgive and tolerate.  Remember:  “If the history cannot developed us then we will create a history with the Iron Hand over the Heart”

          For the encouragement above, endurance and responsibility of Vovinam San Jose, I congratulation and wish for the 2^nd Vovinam Day a success.
