Decision from the Grand Master regarding the creation of the Offices of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao on September 15, 2008

Clause I – to promote Master Nguyen Ton Khoa as the Head of the Offices of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao.

Clause II – Master Nguyen Ton Khoa is responsible for all decisions relating to all Vovinam activities.

Clause III – This decision is immediately effective the date this proclamation is signed.

To meet the needs of all activities relating to Vovinam Viet Vo Dao, the Grand Master of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao has decided upon the following:

Decision 1:  to create the Offices of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao.

The Offices of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao is directly under the authority of the Grand Master.  These Offices are created to assist the Grand Master with all communications and are responsible for implementing and executing decisions made by the Grand Master.

Decision 2:  The Offices of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao consist of one Head Officer, two Assistant Officers and other Officers appointed by the Grand Master.

Decision 3:  These decisions are immediately effective by the signed date.  All Vovinam Viet Vo Dao sub organizations are expected to follow these decisions immediately.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.      On Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM at 31 Su Van Hanh, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, VN, under the authority and supervision of Grand Master Le Sang, a group of masters, including Nguyen Ton Khoa, vo Van Tuan, Nguyen Chanh Tu and a few others, have gathered to announce the creation of the Offices of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao.

2.      Master Nguyen Van Sen has announced the decision of Grand Master Le Sang to promote master Nguyen Ton Khoa as the Head Officer of the Offices of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao.

3.      Basing on the current expansion of Vovinam Viet Dao in Vietnam as well as other countries, Grand Master Le Sang has decided to delegate certain responsibilities among the following the masters:

a.       Master Nguyen Van Chieu, with the assistance of Master Tran Van My, is responsible for the training programs as well as any athletic activities relating to Vovinam Viet Dao in Vietnam and in other countries.

b.      Master Nguyen Van Sen, with the assistance of Master Nguyen Van Vang and Nguyen Chanh Tu, is responsible for the record keeping of the technical skills and traditional formalities of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao in order to promote unison among all sub organizations of Vovinam around the world.

c.       Besides the responsibilities of Head Officer, Master Nguyen To Khoa is also responsible for the research and promotion of Vovinam Viet Vo Dao philosophy.  Master Khoa will be assisted by Master Vo Van Tuan.
