FLYING IN A DREAM

I dream of flying,
Through the baby blue sky.
My arms soared out like wings,
The breeze flying past my face.

My eyes closed,
It was fantasy.
Fantasies by the dancing clouds,
Roaring about the ocean floor.
Looking above i saw,
A burning plate.
Continuing,
Following my fate.

SEASONS

Spring is a newborn,
Flowers grow beautiful around,
A new year starts with festivals
Just like a newvorn child

Summer is a teenager,
The temperture gets warm,
Parents get a little busy,
But the teens come out and play

Fall is an adult,
Plants change into unique colors,
Celebrating thanks for everyone,
Having adults do a lot of work.

Winter is old age,
The temperature gets colder,
Trees and flowers die,
Not able to stand the snowy days.

WHAT I SAW INSIDE A RESTAURANT


I saw waiters coming around for our orders,
They came back and forth all the time.
They came with food, and left with dirty dished.
As if they were a wave from sunny beaches.

I saw some food coming in fancy dishes,
Some even came with a blue fire on the bottom,
It blazed while I eat the delicious food above it.
Everyone went home looking like Mr. Claus.

I saw beautiful, fashionable clothes out in the back.
It was expensive, but worth the money.
The fashions were made from beautiful fabrics,
With hats, jewelrys, and a little purse.

WHERE MY HEART STAYS

A play where I have love,
Where my pure heart has grown up in
Two people who cared for me,
Worked hard from morning till night,
For making a Better career for me.
Months after months, years after years
I grew up in a family with care, trust, and love.
It was a place where my heart stays,
With a flash of heaven light shining through my bright eyes
The last month sharing our family love,
That seems like the only important things in pour lives.

A WEEK AT SOUTH CAROLINA IN THE WINTER

I was in my cousin’s bedroom looking out the window,
Snowflakes were falling, filling the sidewalks and streets.
I was staying in South Carolina for the Chrismas holidays.
It felt like a freeze, that carries the world inside,
With an empty white place and people walking around.
People filled with happiness, excitement, and joy.
Snowman were built everywhere,
Sowballs were thrown every place.
Presens and gifts, complete our wishes for the year,
At night, the lights lit up so beautiful,
Snows were stacked up above the houses,
I wish every day was like this day,
Always fun and cold, especially in the snow.

WONDERING

I never saw my grandparents’ faces.
I never knew what they were like.
This emptiness and sadness I have,
Fought over in my mind.
Because they passed away so soon.
I barely knew anything about my grandparents,
Only stories of what my mon told me about them.
I wonder what they looked like.
I wonder how they acted.
I spend time imagining how they were.
I think about what life was like for them in VietNam
Did they have any difficulties where they lived?
Where they happy living there?
Do they have enought money to use?
But it’s too late to ask any of my questions.
I am still wondering about them

TIME TRAVEL

Last week I earned a time machine,
It was shaped like a round metal bean.
Once was all I could use it,
I wonder where would be the fit.
Go back in third grade?
How about fourth grade?
Think I should be third grade?
Or would it be second grade?
Nah, I think first grade would be best.
My favorite teacher would be teaching me.
If I still had the smarts,
Oh wow !would I skip back to sixth grade!
I typed in the word first grade,
Presed the green button for go,
It shook very bard,
And flew out a card.
What said on the card was:
GO BACK TO BED,
DON’T LET YOUR FACE GO RED,
THIS IS JUST A TOY.

Dream the days we’ve been together,
Dream the days when we’d met,
Dream the times we have kissed,
Dream what we did together,
Dream when you had touched me,
Dream the days you smoothed my hair,
And starred into my eyes,

Until the world comes apart”.
I wish this would be true,

The sun was shining bright,
Like beautiful white diamond eyes.
I was sitting on a chairs,
Listening closely to my mon talking.
In my mind,
I was just imagining,
Imagining the exciting next day.
Swimming at the sandy and salty beach,
Watching the geese fly above,
Honking merrily towards home.
Enjoying a delicious chocolate sundae,
In my favorite spring dress,
And chatting with my friends.

SHADOWED LOVE

It has been so, so long,
Since I ever saw my love again.
Years and years, I went out searching.
Ever since my heart was broken,
He left as though I had just spoken.
Seperated, with two broken hearts,
Each shattered, but still loved.
Shadows everwhere, seemed to be him,
Days were lost track of,
Night seemed to be taking over.
Now matter what I did,
How i tried,
He never came back to me.
I didn't realize without him,
Life would be so hard.
